Education and Experience

The successful incumbent will have a high school diploma or equivalency. Prefer, a 2-year Associate's degree or a 4-year Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Sales, Microbiology, Electronics, or another relevant field (GPA of > 3.0 preferred). Without an Associate or Bachelor's degree, we prefer 3+ years of inside sales experience with a manufacturer or distributor in a technology field such as electronics, medical device, industrial manufacturing, or similar.

  • • Strong interpersonal communication skills, written and verbal
  • • Outgoing personality with public speaking and presentation experience
  • • Excellent follow-up and organizational skills
  • • Ability to handle a steep learning curve
  • • Ability to build long-term relationships
  • • Valid driver's license, insurance, and good driving record required
  • • Bilingual (Spanish, German, or French) a plus
  • • We especially want positive people who can contribute to a positive work environment.
  • • Web or Graphic Design experience a plus

 

 
Job Duties

Incumbents in this position will be the first point of contact for current customers. Job duties and responsibilities will include, but are not be limited to:

  • • Communicate with customers via phone or email to provide prompt and courteous service
  • • Provide sales quotations for new products in a timely fashion
  • • Follow-up on sales quotations
  • • Answer (via telephone or email) customer questions or route to appropriate personnel as necessary
  • • Provide general customer support and customer relations via email/telephone
  • • Become a product knowledge specialist
  • • Must follow all procedures established for ISO 9001 Quality Management System
  • • Comprehensive training program will be provided
  • ** No telemarketing, no cold calling, no outside sales activities.

 
Physical & Other Requirements
  • • Must be able to lift 25 lbs. Carrying heavy objects may be required.
  • • Sitting, standing, and walking for extended periods of time required.
