QC Inspector (Entry Level)

Location:  Redlands, CA

Compensation: Full time salary plus benefits. (Non-Exempt Employee).

Education and Experience

High school diploma or General Education Diploma (GED) required.  An Associate of Arts or a Bachelor degree a plus.

2-years manufacturing experience (preferred)

Long-term employee needed

 
Required Skills

Successful candidates will be able to demonstrate:

  • • Must have prior work experience demonstrating employment stability
  • • Good interpersonal skills and ability to get along with others
  • • Ability to read and comprehend Basic Math & English
  • • Prior experience or aptitude for electronics/mechanical assembly a plus (mechanically inclined)
  • • Ability to differentiate between colors
  • • Ability to work overtime and Saturdays
  • • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
 
Job Duties

Job duties and responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

  • • Perform visual and dimensional inspections of in-process and finished goods, sub-assemblies, and components
  • • Maintain records and other documentation of inspection / test methods, procedures, and results
  • • Prior experience using a calculator, calipers, micrometers, tape measure, and drop indicators (Preferred)
  • • Monitors quality and report non-conformances, trends, and underlying root cause of defects
  • • Read and interpret blue prints and technical specification sheets and certificates
  • • Maintain proper procedures in a static controlled environment
  • • Excellent interpersonal communication and listening skills
  • • Must maintain a clean and organized work area
  • • Must maintain consistent and punctual attendance
  • • Must follow procedures established for ISO 9001 Quality Management System
  • • Other duties as assigned
 
Physical Requirements

Successful Candidates must be able to perform the following:

  • • Ability to perform intricate hand manipulations, such as using a screw driver, and similar actions.
  • • Must be able to lift 40 lbs. from the floor to above your head
  • • Must be able to push a cart
  • • Sitting or standing for extended periods of time required
