Location:  Redlands, CA. 

Compensation: Full time salary plus benefits. (Non-Exempt Employee).  Starting wage varies by education and experience.

Job Summary: Responsible for performing clerical and administrative duties in an office setting. In addition to Payroll Clerk duties, assists the General Manager, Controller, and Human Resource Manager in general clerical support. Reports to and performs under the direction of the Controller. Hours from 7:00AM to 3:30PM, Monday through Friday. Overtime as needed and authorized from time-to-time.

   
Education and Experience

Strongly prefer a Bachelor's degree in Business, with an emphasis in Accounting or Finance a plus 
Otherwise, must have an Associate's degree in Accounting with 3-5 years experience

 
Requirements

Successful candidates will have the following skills:

  • • 3-5 years payroll processing experience a plus. College internship in accounting or finance
  • • Ability to type at least 30 WPM
  • • Strong Math Skills
  • • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • • Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and other Microsoft Office applications
  • • Strong Interpersonal Communication Skills, verbal and written
  • • Able to work in a fast pace environment
  • • Able to work with minimum direction and supervision
 
Job Duties

Job duties and responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

  • • Process daily time cards into IBMi and consult employees about discrepancies
  • • Process daily absenteeism, PTO, and other leaves of absence
  • • Provide daily clerical assistance: filing, scanning, mail distribution
  • • Weekly Supply Ordering: Front office
  • • Reconcile monthly absenteeism to PTO statements
  • • Submit monthly absenteeism report & personnel report by established deadlines
  • • Quarterly maintain company contact information
  • • Book rental cars for personnel
  • • Miscellaneous assigned duties as required
 
Physical Requirements

Successful Candidates must be able to perform the following:

  • • Ability to type and work efficiently on a computer
  • • Must be able to lift 25 lbs.
  • • Sitting or standing for extended periods of time required.
 
Other

A basic English and Math test will be administered as part of the pre-selection process.  The successful candidate must also pass a physical and a drug test as condition for continued employment.
