Education and Experience

THIS IS AN ENTRY LEVEL POSITION, RECENT UNIVERSITY GRADUATES ENCOURAGED TO APPLY.
Bachelor degree or MBA in business, marketing or sales emphasis a plus. Bachelor degree in microbiology or electronics also acceptable.

   
Required Skills

Successful candidates will be able to demonstrate:

  • • History of prior sales success
  • • MUST be able to demonstrate prior job stability if not a recent university graduate
  • • University GPA of 3.0 or higher
  • • Prior sales experience in electronics, life science, or industrial manufacturing
  • • Strong presentation skills
  • • Strong personal integrity
  • • Outgoing personality and ability to build and maintain relationships
  • • Ability to read and comprehend Basic Math
  • • Must have a valid drivers license, insurance, and good driving record
  • • Bilingual (Spanish) a plus
   
Job Duties

Job duties and responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

  • • Outside Sales primarily to life science prospects and customers
  • • 80% of time spent on prospecting and presenting need-based cost justifiable solutions
  • • 50%-60% domestic and international travel expected
  • • Strong interpersonal communication skills, both written and verbal
  • • Strong presentation skills
  • • Must follow all procedures established for ISO 9001 Quality Management System
  • • Other duties as assigned
   
Training Program Comprehensive training program provided and consists of: Basic Electronics, Particle Science, Theory of Operation, Intro to Metrology, Product Knowledge, Competitive Analysis, International Standards, Intro to Microbiology, Cleanroom Best Practices (inert and viable monitoring),  Consultative Sales Skills, Presenting and Demonstrating Cost Justifiable Solutions, and Sales Management. Training takes 3-6 months then another 6 months of field experience. 
   
Physical & Other Requirements
  • • Must be able to type.
  • • Must be able to lift 50 lbs. from the floor to above your head
  • • Sitting, standing, and walking for extended periods of time required.
   
Other

Wage verification, education verification, basic English and Math pre-employment test.  The successful candidate must also pass a physical and a drug test as condition for continued employment, proof of automobile insurance and a good driving record is required.
