  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Strongly prefer a Bachelor's degree in business, communications, electronics, microbiology, or similar relevant degree. Lacking a relevant degree, 3-5 years relevant experience required.  New university graduates encouraged to apply. Desired GPA of 3.0 or higher.
  • Work Experience: 2-5 years of outside B2B industrial or medical device technical sales experience. Prefer experience with cleanroom environmental monitoring equipment (sales, design, use, etc.).
  • Stability: MUST have a history of prior stable employment. Please, no job hoppers.
  • Communication Skills: Must have strong interpersonal communication skills, both written and verbal. Bilingual (Spanish, German, or French) a plus. Must have strong pubic speaking and communication skills.

  • Personality: Outgoing personality and history of building long-term customer relationships.
  • Other:: We especially want positive people who can contribute to a positive work environment.
Job Duties
  • • Create, develop and maintain a Strategic Plan to accomplish annual sales goals
  • • Conduct joint calls on prospects and customers with outside sales reps and distributors
  • • Conduct presentations on a variety of topics
  • • Recommend appropriate product and software solutions
  • • Consult on environmental monitoring best practices
  • • Approximately ~50% frequent domestic and intermittent international travel expected
  • • Laptop, mileage, auto rentals, and all travel expenses reimbursed
  • • Other miscellaneous duties as assigned

Comprehensive training program provided and consists of: Basic Electronics, Particle Science, Theory of Operation, Intro to Metrology, Product Knowledge, Competitive Analysis, International Standards, Intro to Microbiology, Cleanroom Best Practices (inert and viable monitoring),  Consultative Sales Skills, Presenting and Demonstrating Cost Justifiable Solutions, and Sales Management. Training usually takes 3-6 months then another 6 months of field experience. 

Physical and Other Requirements
  • • Must be able to lift 50 lbs.

  • • Sitting, standing, and walking for extended periods required.

  • • Must have a valid drivers license, automobile insurance, and a good driving record.
