Education and Experience	High school diploma or equivalency required, 2-3 years previous experience in an accounting environment preferred. An Associate or Bachelor of Arts degree with a concentration in Accounting is preferred.
Required Skills	Successful candidates will be able to demonstrate: • Ability to type at least 30 WPM. • Ability to read and comprehend basic English • Ability to use basic math • Basic skills in Microsoft Excel, and other MS Office applications • Basic understanding of accounting and GAAP • Able to work in a fast pace environment • Able to work with minimum direction and supervision • Advanced 10-key experience • Strong interpersonal communication skills • AS-400 experience a BIG plus • Ability to work overtime as needed
Job Duties	Job duties and responsibilities will include, but not be limited to: • Processing of all vendor invoices • Reconciliation of weekly check runs • Monthly journal entries and account reconciliation • Maintain vendor master records • Reconciliation of vendor statements • Ensure early payment discounts are taken • Payroll processing  • Processing of daily mail • Other assigned duties as requested
Physical Requirements	Successful Candidates must be able to perform the following: • Ability to type and work efficiently on a computer • Must be able to lift 25 lbs. from the floor to above your head. • Sitting or standing for extended periods of time required.
Other	A basic English and Math test will be administered as part of the pre-selection process.  The successful candidate must also pass a physical and a drug test as condition for continued employment.
