Develops, implements, and coordinates Climet's quality assurance program to prevent or eliminate defects in new or existing products by performing the following duties personally or through delegation to subordinates:

 

Education and Qualifications
  • • Highly prefer a Bachelors degree in Quality, Safety, Engineering, or Bachelor's in Business Administration from an accredited university
  • • ISO 9001 and/or ISO 17025 Certifications preferred

 
Required Skills

Successful candidates will be able to demonstrate:

  • • Advance knowledge and experience writing SOPs and QOPs
  • • 3+ years experience with ISO 9001
  • • 3+ years experience with ISO 17025 a plus
  • • 2+ years leading a QMS organization
  • • 2+ years QMS audit experience (internal & external)
  • • Electronics Manufacturing experience a plus
  • • Ability to conduct effective presentations for CEO and senior management
  • • Excellent organization skills
  • • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • • Excellent interpersonal communication skills (senior management, co-workers, subordinates, external auditors)
  • • Excellent leadership skills
  • • Ability to develop & maintain a quality culture
  • • MS Office Suite: Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.
  • • Ability to perform analytical reasoning
  • • Able to work and manage with minimum direction and supervision
   
Job Duties

Job duties and responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

  • • Responsible for integrity of the Climet's quality management system
  • • Weekly and Monthly quality reports to General Manager
  • • Ability to develop, document, and implement a QA management strategy in line with Climet's business requirements
  • • Develop and manage quality measurements for performance improvement
  • • Conduct annual Internal Audit of each department in Redlands, CA
  • • Prepare, liaise, and conduct corrective actions for External Quality Auditors
  • • Maintain and improve Climet's CAPA program
  • • Track general assembly and manufacturing training
  • • Train and Cross-Train Quality Staff
  • • Ensure all policies and procedures are in line with ISO 9001:2015
  • • Manage Quality Department staff of 5-6 employees (QA, QC, NCR)
  • • Other duties as assigned
   
Physical Requirements

Successful candidates must be able to perform the following:

  • • Ability to type and work efficiently on a computer
  • • Must be able to lift 20 lbs. from the floor to above your head.
  • • Sitting or standing for extended periods of time required.

Reports to the General Manager

A basic English and Math test will be administered as part of the pre-selection process.  The successful candidate must also pass a physical and a drug test as condition for continued employment.
